Propel Shipping is a global dry-bulk shipping operator based out of Singapore with group offices in Dubai, Greece & India. The company annually carries over 20 million MT of cargo globally for it’s various customers in the Steel, Cement, Power, Fertilizer & Mineral sectors.

Propel Shipping is the Chartering/Operating Arm of the ACT group in India. ACT is one the leading service providers in the Shipping & Logistics arena offering various services including Stevedoring, Warehousing, Transportation, Ship Agency, Customs Broking, Ship-broking. The group was established in 1982 and now offers it’s services across various ports in India with a strong team of more than 400 employees.

Dry Cargo Shipping

We are in the business of freight trading - we ship dry bulk cargoes around the world for our industrial clients - some of the world’s leading steel mills, mining companies, grain traders, fertiliser manufacturers, and many more.

Commercial Management

We provide commercial management of dry bulk ships for some of our close owners. Using our cargo portfolio/market presence and operational experience we are able to regularly beat market indices and maximise returns for our investors/principals.

Market Flexibility

Maintaining a fleet of approximately 40-50 chartered in ships, we have the flexibility to change our market position to long cargo or vice-versa depending on the market conditions and our risk management portfolio.

Door Delivery

We are one of the few companies which provide Door Delivery of dry bulk cargoes in select locations, this means a one stop solution for Ocean Freight, Customs Clearance and Stevedoring, Warehousing and Inland Transport to/from clients’ facilities in the hinterland.
